Magic Kingdom

Schedule:

  • Dressed and ready for hotel breakfast @ 7:30
  • Wait/Catch shuttle to M. Kingdom @ 8:15am
  • Magic Kingdom opens @ 9am
  • Enter, pass Main Street Shops except Starbuck's (shops are open late, can shop at night)
  • Turn left into Adventureland (could reverse this and do Frontierland first, which means going straight to Space Mountain).
  • Adventureland: 
      • Aloha Isle is at the entrance = Dole Whip + counts as snack credit
      • Magic Carpet of Aladdin, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean
      • Meet Aladdin characters in Adventureland
      • A Pirate's Adventure ?  Treasure Hunt, 5 clues, each take 20 minutes to complete, which is almost 2 hours of our day. :(
      • Agrabah Bazaar - Aladdin's shops and themed merchandise
      • Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial - 25 minutes - take 4 or 5 volunteers - outdoor show
      • The Pirate's League - Costume/Makeovers
  • Frontierland:
      • Turkey Leg Cart $11.25 Not included on snack plan
      • Frontierland Shootin' Arcade, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Tom Sawyer Island
      • Get on train and take it back to Main Street, then take Disney monorail, boat, bus to lunch at a resort (probably Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge or Trails End at Fort Wilderness)  both are table service and require rsvp
      • Check out activities at those resorts???
      • Travel back to our hotel to rest/swim.  Need to take boat/bus back to M.Kingdom or another major park and then catch bus to our hotel
      • Snacks/swim/rest
      • Catch shuttle and re-enter park around dinner time
      • Turn right at the circle and enter Tomorrowland
  • Tomorrowland
      • Quick service dinner at Cosmic Ray's Café
      • Transit Authority People Mover, Tomorrowland Speedway, Astro Orbiter, Buzz Lightyear SpaceRanger Spin, Space Mountain
  • FantasyLand
      • 7 Dwarfs Mine Ride, It's A Small World, Under the Sea, Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey's Philhar Magic, 12 minute 3D experience, Splash and Soak Station, Cinderella's Castle,Meet Anna and Elsa, Meet Ariel at her Grotto,
  • LibertySquare
      • Baked Potato and Waffles as snack credits
  • Main Street USA
      • Casey's Corner - mini corndogs
      • Shops and snacks (ice cream sundaes as snack credits)
      • Parades and Night Shows starting at 9

Touring Plans Tips:
  • Get to park 1 hour early
  • Don't shop on main street shops, they are open after park closes, shop at night
  • Magic Kingdom is laid out in a circle, most people turn right, going into Tomorrowland, TURN LEFT and head into Adventureland and you will stay in the opposite direction of the crowd.
  • Use FastPasses carefully, where they will save the most time of waiting in line.  Reccomendations are: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Peter Pan's Flight
  • Skip parades as an option to take advantage of riding rides with shorter lines
  • Do Not visit on a Monday, most families visit this park first on vacation
